Test Objective of Bumpy Road Test
The test track can include cobblestone roads, bumpy roads, potholes, washboard roads, speed bumps and uneven surfaces to generate different levels of vibration and impact. It helps evaluate the performance of the suspension system, chassis, steering system, wheel and axle assemblies, vehicle body and fastening components.
During the test, the vehicle travels through the rough road section at a specified speed. Engineers can observe vehicle handling, suspension response, abnormal noise, vibration and potential component looseness.
